12/3 vs. Fort McMurray W 5-4 0 0 0 0 [box score]
St. Albert, bluntly speaking, is awful and not showing any sign of improvement from 6-26-2, the worst record in the AJHL...as a result, team management has essentially cut the cord on this season (although the team would argue that assertion, at least on the record) by trading many of their veteran players, which this week came to include Linaker...the Brooks Bandits, the first-place team in the AJHL's South Division are his new home, meaning he went from probably the worst team including a PSU recruit to one of the best...in return for Linaker, the Steel received 18-year-olds Brendan Santini and Taylor Graham, as well as future considerations...while he didn't record any statistics in his Brooks debut, he did get one thing that has been rare for him so far this season - a win.
