Commit Cycle: September 11

Alec Marsh

Forward
Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (USHL)
5'10", 165 pounds
Bridgewater, NJ
Class of 2015
DOB 11/1995

Date  Opponent                Score  G   A Pts PIM

9/8   vs. Dubuque (ex)        L 2-4  0   0   0   2 [box score]

Marsh, who was drafted by Cedar Rapids in May, is presently on the team's affiliate list and hopes to, at the very least, make a good impression in camp... his two penalties in Friday's exhibition opener both involved taking an opponent off with him, and he was a +1 for the game.

Bo Pellah

Defenseman
Langley Rivermen (BCHL)
5'11", 150 pounds
New Westminster, BC
Class of 2014
DOB 5/25/1995

9/9   at Prince George        L 5-6  0   2   2   2 [box score]

While an infrequent goal scorer last season (three in 57 games), Pellah put home a loose puck in a blowout win to open the regular schedule... he was also named third star of the game for reasons that surely went beyond a third-period goal that made the score 5-2... his pair of assists helped Langley build a 3-0 lead Sunday night before losing in overtime... Pellah has switched his jersey number this season, from 22 to 17.

The Chiefs split a pair of 2-1 results to open the season... Thompson's power play goal on a short-side one timer late in the second period was the winner in Saturday's affair, while Chilliwack narrowly missed out on a shot at revenge against Vees Friday... Penticton eliminated the Chiefs from the BCHL playoffs in the spring en route to the RBC Cup.
