Shut Out The Light

From her father and uncles who played for the Icers, through her status as a locally-raised rink rat and her time playing and working in it, to her freshman season as a member of the inaugural NCAA women's team at Penn State, few people are as connected to the Greenberg Ice Pavilion as Jill Holdcroft. Via teammate Lindsay Reihl, here's Holdcroft saying her goodbye to the old orange barn.

With the official move to Pegula Ice Arena scheduled for completion early next week, we're just entering an exciting new beginning for Penn State hockey. Every new beginning, however, comes from some other beginning's end. Farewell old friend, you've been awfully good to Penn State for 33 seasons of hockey.
