After a productive JWHL weekend two weeks ago Laurenzi's NSA team had another weekend to remember, winning the Northwood Invitational Tournament...despite a shutout of NAHA's Red team in the final, the tournament's highlight was the semifinal win over NAHA-White (NAHA's top team), a triple overtime thriller in which Laurenzi and fellow signee Shannon Yoxheimer both scored...in all, Laurenzi had that goal and two assists during the tournament...with the gino, she passed last season's 72-game goal scoring output within 47 games...NSA is 13-1-2 since its holiday break.

Williston continued its hot play of late, taking down Kingswood-Oxford 5-1 and Kent 3-1 last week...in the second period of the Kent game, "the Wildcats executed a face off play very well and the puck went from captain Sarah Wilkie '12, to [Kathryn] Tomaselli down low to [Christina] Zalewski, who found the back of the net"...that tilt was also notable for Williston arriving at the rink without their jerseys, forcing them to wear Kent's away set for the game...the Wildcats have only given up 14 goals in their last 13 games, key to a 10-1-2 run.
