Need a Job?

Penn State's hiring, if you haven't heard. If you're really, really good at coaching hockey, do me a personal favor and look into this.
The Pennsylvania State University, an NCAA Division I program and a member of the Big Ten Conference, is seeking candidates for the job of Head Coach, Men's Ice Hockey. Responsibilities include the organization and administration of all facets for a successful ice hockey program including recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success. Ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA, Big Ten and Penn State rules and regulations. Scheduling; practice; conditioning; scouting; budget management; fundraising; promotions; organizing and directing camps and clinics. Administration and supervision of Assistant Coaches. Other duties as assigned by Athletic Director. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) or higher plus six years of successful coaching experience at the Division I and/or similar professional level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Penn State offers an excellent benefits package. Job will remain open until a successful candidate is identified.

Electronically submit a cover letter, salary requirements and resume at www.psu.jobs or mail to Employment & Compensation Division, Job #: B-33812, The Pennsylvania State University, Fifth Floor, James M. Elliott Building, University Park, PA 16802 or fax to 814-865-3750.
The women's team needs a coach too. You probably don't have to read this if you read the men's one.
